The Citizen of the Year Award is given to recognize a Blanding City citizen who, through their
personal involvement, leadership abilities, and selfless giving of their time and talent over the
previous 12 months and have positively affected the lives of our citizens. The Citizen
of the Year Award honors those whose contributions to Blanding have been both a recent
effort resulting in a substantial benefit to the community, and a steady, reliable long-term
history of service to Blanding.
 

To nominate a deserving citizen, please fill out the submission form below. Each nomination will be given the utmost consideration. Nominations will remain in the selection pool until June 30th. When a nominee is selected for the award, the nominator will be notified by Blanding City and awarded on July 4th.
