Blanding City uses an online platform called City Inspect for all our building permits. Builders and developers are required to make an account and submit the required documents and information necessary through City Inspect. Once a permit is issued, inspections are scheduled through the online platform as well. Permits vary in turnaround time. Permit fees are usually 2-3% of the total estimated cost of the project

Blanding City owns the sewer, water, natural gas, and power utilities within city limits. Connection fees, impact fees, and utility extension fees are the responsibility of the developer. New utility development and connecting to an existing service can be requested online. For more coordination, please contact
